It’s a difficult task to keep skin looking and feeling great. Thankfully, essential oils are here to help you heal and then maintain healthy, beautiful skin. These all natural remedies are not only just as effective (if not, more) but safer than standard, man-made skin care products. Also, they can be much cheaper, saving you money and time. With consistent use, your skin will be visibly healthier, leading to smoother, more beautiful skin.
4 Essential Oils for Skin Care
Lavender: Lavender oil is likely the most well-known essential oil for skin care. Lavender is perfect for healing damaged skin, such as burns, cuts, and scrapes, promoting your body’s natural healing process. Lavender works down at the cellular level, making it extremely effective. And since it works cellularly, it also increases your antioxidant production to fight free radicals, which are the main cause of various diseases. So, use our Lavender-Infused Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist oil to heal and maintain your skin.
Frankincense: Frankincense oil is a mini-miracle worker. Frankincense improves the appearance of your skin all around. This includes reducing wrinkles, blemishes, and acne, healing damage caused by the sun, and restoring pigmentation to areas of discoloration. It also can restore a more youthful look by increasing collagen production to add more volume to cheeks and removing scars, stretch marks, and much more. If you want to remove blemishes of almost any sort, then pick up some frankincense.
Tea Tree: Tea tree oil has been known to relieve several skin conditions including psoriasis and eczema. Tea tree oil is a great cleanser, ridding the pores of any toxins and buildup, making it perfect for treating acne and similar skin conditions. Additionally, tea tree oil can heal cuts and scrapes similar to lavender oil. If you struggle with toxins and keeping your skin clear, then tea tree oil is for you.
Pomegranate Seed: Pomegrante seed oil is great for healing and preventing damage to your skin, especially from the sun. It contains bioflavonoids which are a natural SPF, making it a natural sunblock. It also contains elements that heal sunburns and quicken the healing process. Pomegranate oil is also used for anti-aging purposes, thus, making a serum out of it will tighten skin and promote a youthful vibrancy.
Nature’s solutions to common skin problems are by far the most effective and can cover a wide range of issues. Start using essential oils today on a consistent basis and you will find a younger looking you in the mirror.

Whether or not you like crafting, sometimes you just feel you need to try a DIY project of own. But looking at the breadth of aromatherapy projects you can make yourself can seem daunting as you get sucked into a Google or Pinterest Black hole. So here are some great DIY Aromatherapy ideas you can use today. For these ideas, we recommend using our Citrus Infused Eucalyptus ShowerMist.
Even though most of the time our ShowerMist is used in showers (of course), EuroSpa ShowerMist’s can actually be used as a room spray. Sometimes here at EuroSpa, someone will come into the office who is a heavy smoker or has sprayed just a little too much cologne on that day. After they leave, I will use the bottle of Citrus Infused ShowerMist that stays on my desk. Just a couple of spritzes in the air and in just a few minutes, the smell is gone and you are left with the refreshing scent of Citrus and Eucalyptus!
If you have a teenager or a man in your house, no matter how well they try, their shoes can sometimes be just smelly! To help get rid of that smell, spray the Citrus Infused ShowerMist on the inside of the shoes and let them sit overnight. The first thing you will notice is the smell will start dissipating. By the morning, the shoes smell better and the ShowerMist should help keep the smell in the shoes from coming back as strong as Eucalyptus is a natural odor eater. I personally use it all the time to keep my sandals smelling great since as a California girl, I pretty much live in them!
Do you love to use scrubs in the shower but can’t afford some of those amazing looking products that you see on BuzzFeed? Try pairing our Citrus Infused ShowerMist with our Mint Infused ShowerMist, mix in some Epsom salts and a carrier oil such as almond oil. The Mint Infused ShowerMist will add a cooling effect to the mixture to help relieve aches and pains while the Citrus Infused ShowerMist will invigorate you and open your sinuses!
Tired of how dry Purell and other alcohol based sanitizers can make your hands feel? Mix some aloe vera gel together with the Citrus Infused ShowerMist for your own version of a hand sanitizer. Not only will your hands no longer be dry because of the aloe vera, but the Citrus Infused ShowerMist will not dry out your hands either!
And finally, my personal favorite as we have used it many times in our household. Sometimes no matter how well you clean or what you pour down the drain, your garbage disposal smells. And that smell can spread throughout the house fast! Try spraying the Citrus Infused ShowerMist down the drain and let it sit for at least 15 minutes before you run water down the drain. Suddenly the smell will be gone and your whole house will smell like oranges. I personally have used this multiple times in different houses and works so quickly you will be surprised!
Is there something you have tried with our Eucalyptus products that you love? Comment here or on social media and you might see it included in our next newsletter!

Autoimmune diseases have become one of the more widely talked about diseases with the advance of modern medicine and also with the internet. Before this, the sufferers of these diseases had no way of knowing what they had and most had to suffer with little to no relief with no answers. Nowadays, one of the more common autoimmune diseases we hear about is Lupus.
So what is Lupus and what makes it an autoimmune disease? In autoimmune diseases, the immune system turns against parts of the body it is designed to protect. Lupus can affect many parts of the body, including the joints, skin, kidneys, heart, lungs, blood vessels, and brain. Although people with the disease may have many different symptoms, some of the most common ones include extreme fatigue, painful or swollen joints (arthritis), unexplained fever, skin rashes, and kidney problems.
Even though there is no cure for Lupus, for most people it can be treated with prescriptions and they can lead an active and healthy life. However, when the disease flares, it has the potential to be quite debilitating. Aromatherapy can be used to help give symptomatic relief and enable them to sleep and relax and generally aid their mental well-being.
As May is Lupus Awareness Month, we want to show EuroSpa’s Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist can help. Based on what you are trying to ease, all of our Eucalyptus oil based products have some manner of helpfulness. Here are some common symptoms and the product that should help best!
For pain and stress try our Lavender or Mint Infused Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist. Lavender is rich in notes that help give it anti-inflammatory properties and its refreshing scent helps ease stress. Mint gives a cooling sensation and can calm the body which can help relieve sore muscles.
To ease inflammation try our Menthol Infused Eucalyptus Showermist which also has the addition of camphor which aid the menthol’s effectiveness. Menthol brings a cooling sensation which can help trigger your body to think its cold and will help relieve the uncomfortable heat of inflammation. This is why many first aid products use menthol for cooling in place of ice.
And lastly, to aid circulation, give Citrus Infused Eucalyptus ShowerMist a try. Citrus is thought of as cleansing and can aid in stimulation which can lead to a clearing of potential lymphatic stagnation. And it’s also refreshing and uplifting – who hasn’t felt perked up by the scent of citrus?
All of these infusions are aided by the invigorating properties of Pure Eucalyptus Oil. It has such a fresh and clean aroma that it helps to open your airways up so you can receive the full benefit of your aromatherapy shower.
So while Lupus and other autoimmune diseases might not have a cure, hopefully a few of these ideas can help the sufferers have a better day which can lead to a better week, better month and better life!

No woman likes the monthly cramps their sentenced to. They come at the worst time and have a way of slowing your day and keeping you parked on the couch. All you want is relief and to get back to your life. But you have the right to find relief faster and without the extra drugs. Not all women are aware of how much power they have over their body’s health and wellness. We’re here to help you because you deserve it.
3 Tips for Reducing Your Menstrual Pain:
- Reduce Your Caffeine: Everybody is different, and sometimes a warm cup of coffee does just the trick. But too much caffeine is dehydrating to your body, causing circulation to slow and pain to persist. Caffeine constricts your blood levels and raises tension: so when you’re suffering from cramps, it’s important to stay hydrated. Drinking water and herbal tea instead will not only keep your flow hydrated but will also help relieve any bloating that may occur.
- Use Heat. Run a hot shower. Let the steam add up. And spray some of our Lavender-Infused Pure Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist into the steam. The cleansing effects of the oil will be heightened in the stream and permeate your bronchial passages, resulting in relaxation and a further detoxified system. The lavender acts as an anti-depressant and will release the stress you’ve built up. If you don’t have the time or energy for the hot shower, grab a hot water bottle or heating pad. They may seem old-fashioned, but they will help warm and relax the muscles in your lower abdomen. The heat relaxes the tension around your pain and helps the flow move more fluidly. If heat overwhelms you, use the oil combination mentioned below.
- Massage. Once the area has been warmed, take some time for a gentle massage. Use cooling massage oil, if you can. You can make your own with a blend of peppermint, ginger, lavender and fractionated coconut oil. Lavender will relax and calm you, cinnamon aids in circulation (bringing comfort), and peppermint with ginger are an excellent topical anti-inflammatory.
You may not find your menstrual pain disappearing altogether, but you will be able to function more comfortably and happily, without taking any drugs.
Did you find these tips successful in relieving your pain? If so, let us know in the comments, and help other women experience relief by sharing!

It’s hard to wake up in the morning and see signs of aging and tiredness all over your face. As a society, we move too fast, eat too little nutrients, overwork, undersleep, and are dehydrated. Our faces and skin show it. But it can be dealt with and treated with these simple tricks and tips.
4 Tips to Reverse Aging:
Lemon Water Cleanse: After you wake up have a small glass of lemon water. You can boil water or have it cold, add the juice of half a lemon, and sweeten with honey or stevia for taste if needed. This cleanses your digestive system, detoxifies the skin and blood, rejuvenates your body, and makes your body less acidic. Disease and unstable health thrive in an acidic body. Part of lemon water cleansing your digestive system is cleaning out your kidneys. The bags and dark circles you may see under your eyes are from overwhelmed kidneys.
Face Massage: When the kidneys and liver are overworked, the lymph in the eyes begins to back up. Basically, the bags are sitting toxins that need to be expelled. Thus, in addition to drinking lemon water, do this exercise.
- Close your eyes. Place your four fingers (not the thumb) under the eye and gently apply pressure with your fingertips along and under the eye bag area.
- Take your middle fingers and gently sweep the same area from the inside to the outer corner underneath the eye—be careful not to stretch the skin.
- Repeat this action 5-10 times when applying moisturizer morning and night. This will keep the area flushed.
Steam With Eucalyptus: Pure Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist is a great addition to any anti-aging routine. Turn up the steam in the shower and spray the eucalyptus onto the walls, floor, and into the steam. The mixture will open the pores in your face and activate the antimicrobial cleansing properties of the Eucalyptus. Also, inhaling the steam will help cleanse your bronchial passages, allowing for a full body cleanse that will be reflected in your skin.
Drink Your Green Juice: There’s a lot of hype about green juice these days, and it’s for a good reason! Greens tone your skin and blood, adding vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. This results in brighter eyes, tighter skin, and rosier cheeks. And don’t worry—there are PLENTY of delicious recipes online for incredible tasting juice.
Now that you know how to turn back time in the healthiest way possible, it’s time to try it!
