Whether you’ve been dealing with back pain for a long time, or the pain is new to you due to trauma or exercise, back pain slows your day down and needs to be alleviated fast. But pain pills can’t offer long-term relief without side effects. So what can you do?
You need natural relief that can heal your body instead of masking symptoms. So that’s why you need our Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist.
When Eucalyptus essential oil is of a high quality and not processed or diluted, it has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties that make it a great option when treating sore or over-exercised muscles. Eucalyptus oil can help relax stiff muscles, allowing for pain relief, a greater range of motion, and easy muscle movement.
So how can you soothe your muscle aches with Eucalyptus oil?
Here are a few ways:
How to Heal Back Pain with Eucalyptus Oil
- Add 3-5 drops of straight (neat) Eucalyptus oil directly onto sore muscles and slowly massage it into the skin (it’s a strong oil though, and it may be best to dilute with coconut oil first until you know how your body responds).
- Add 15-50 drops of Eucalyptus oil to a hot bath. Combined with the benefits of the oil, the heat of the water encourages muscles to relax and helps reduce next-day stiffness. For additional benefits, Epsom salts can be added to the water as well.
- The easiest and best option is to get our Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist, spraying it into the hot steam of your shower, or even into the warmth of a sauna or steam room.
Remember, the body has an amazing ability to heal itself when supported well through lifestyle and proper health habits. Pain in the body is also a sign of something else going on, so dealing with the root cause naturally can help you find long-term relief.

When it comes to what we put on and in our bodies, it’s important to know that it’s safe,
right? That’s why many companies are using clever marketing to convince their customer base that their products are safe. But are they?
Essential oil companies should be carefully reviewed before your purchase. Their standard of quality should be clear and understandable. At EuroSpa Aromatics, we are more than happy to disclose our product information, processes, and quality standards. And that’s why for many years we have been proud to say that our products are all pharmaceutical grade.
Why You Should Only Use Pharmaceutical Grade Essential Oils
Let’s talk about why your essential oils should always be pharmaceutical grade.
When it comes to standards, pharmaceutical grade (British Pharmacopeia), is the one we use. It’s the only scientifically-based grading system available for essential oils. Being a part of this ensures our products’ potency and unbeatable aroma.
And for essential oils to be pure and effective, they must have higher than 70% cineole content. Our pharmaceutical grade Eucalyptus oil has a cineole content of 80-85% and is 100% pure with no additives or fillers. The 80-85% cineole ensures maximum effectiveness for therapeutic applications and uses.
There’s a reason top luxury and wellness spas all over the US order their products from us. We have been supplying them with top-of-the-line eucalyptus oil for over 30 years. What’s great is that you too can have the same high-quality Eucalyptus oil that 5-star hotels use right in the comfort of your home with our Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist.
Eucalyptus supports your respiratory, musculoskeletal, circulatory, and nervous system, allowing you to bring the healing power of a luxury steam room into your home and shower.
You’ll feel refreshed, invigorated, and boosted—especially knowing that the Eucalyptus oil you’re using is a top quality, pharmaceutical grade, essential oil.

“Therapeutic grade” is marketing hype. There is no such standard!
Essential Oils have a ton of hype and popularity right now, and it’s for a good reason. They have shown to efficiently support the body in its ability to heal itself when they meet high standards. But what standard is that exactly?
First of all, there’s synthetic grade. This is the most common grade and is used to scent cosmetics, hair products, and body lotions. That’s all they should be used for.
Then there’s food grade. This level of quality (or lack thereof) is used to food flavorings in snacks, dressings, chewing gum, and the like. To meet food grade standards, an oil must be listed on the FDA’s list of acceptable food products. Eucalyptus oil is on the list. There is no standard beyond this set by the FDA.
How to Spot False Essential Oil Standards

Most Eucalyptus oils on the market today claim a classification of therapeutic. Unfortunately, this standard does not and is just marketing hype. Any eucalyptus oil can claim to be therapeutic grade, but since the standard doesn’t exist, this means nothing. Many of the oils that claim to be therapeutic may have a great aroma and healing properties. But the use of the term “therapeutic” will not help you in selecting the best essential oil.
According to Aromaweb.com:
“No governmental agency or generally accepted organization ‘grades’ or ‘certifies’ essential oils as ‘therapeutic grade,’ ‘medicinal grade,’ or ‘aromatherapy grade’ in the U.S. There is no formally approved grading standard used consistently throughout the essential oil industry.”
The only scientific grade available for essential oils is pharmaceutical grade. While several organizations provide this standard, most of the standards are derived from the British Pharmacopeia. There are not many essential oil providers out there that can honestly claim to have met such a standard.
Why Pharmaceutical Grade is the Only Trustworthy Standard for Essential Oils
At EuroSpa Aromatics, we specifically only use and source the best, pharmaceutical grade Eucalyptus oil. While this standard provides a high degree of certainty that the oil will have a great aroma and be effective in its purpose.
And with several major 5-star resort hotels and luxury spa steam rooms as our largest customers, you can be certain the product you receive from us will always be the best.
Eucalyptus oil is made up of over 100 compounds, each compound containing a piece of the plant’s DNA and immune system. The less oil that is distilled, the cruder it is considered, and the more of its compounds it still contains. Oils that do not claim pharmaceutical grade are typically distilled just one time, which leaves compounds in the oil that either reduce the quality of the product or reduce the potency.
With pharmaceutical grade, the plant is distilled a second time which eliminates more of the unwanted compounds. The pharmaceutical grade standard requires a final potency of 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol) resulting in at least 70% of the desired cineole.
Our Eucalyptus oil products exceed these standards, and all of our oils are guaranteed to contain 80-85% cineole. This means our Eucalyptus oil is strong and safe to be used for antiseptics, muscle and bone pain, cough remedies, natural cleaning, air purification, surface sanitation, and cleaning.
The 80-85% standard that we employ also assures you the best possible aroma. If you love Eucalyptus oil, you may have experienced products or steam rooms where the aroma seems week, too pungent, or even not pleasant at all. This is either because the oil is only single distilled or because the supplier has added other agents (cut the oil) to lower the cost.
Our Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist meets these same standards. You spray it into the steam and are not only invigorated but also your entire respiratory system is cleansed and strengthened; great news for those suffering from sinusitis and asthma.
Finally, we want you to rest assured knowing that all EuroSpa Aromatics’ products are produced from Eucalyptus oil that significantly exceeds the pharmaceutical standard. All of our products are fresh and non-toxic. Unlike Eucalyptus oils common in our industry, EuroSpa’s blends do not contain any industrial solvents, isopropyl alcohol, or water.

Sciatica pain is a tricky monster to calm, but there are solutions for relief that you deserve to know about. It’s frustrating to experience a pain so irritating and debilitating. Sciatica pain is quite common but it’s natural home remedies for pain relief are not so common.
It’s time to stop suffering. Get fast relief from sciatica pain with these natural remedies.
Ease Your Sciatica pain naturally with essential oils
Since sciatica may become worse with touch therapies, one way to effectively ease the pain is through essential oils. This can be done via aromatherapy or by applying a mixture of essential oils with a carrier, such as almond, olive, or jojoba oil to the painful area. Essential oils can also be used in a hot compress applied to the painful area.
Some oils that are commonly recommended, include:
- German Chamomile – German chamomile is a powerful anti-inflammatory. It also stimulates the production of red blood cells. In addition to its sedative properties, German chamomile also acts as an anti-spasmatic and analgesic (pain reliever).
- Sweet Marjoram – Sweet marjoram has many of the same properties as German chamomile. It acts as an anti-spasmatic and promotes deep relaxation. It is also a powerful stimulant and should not be used during pregnancy.
- Cypress Oil – Cypress oil comes from the leaves (needles) and cones of the Mediterranean Cypress trees of Europe. It is used for stimulating blood circulation and is a powerful astringent. Like German chamomile and sweet marjoram, it is also an anti-spasmatic and often used to relieve the cramps, sprains, and strains of athletic injuries as well as the pain of rheumatoid arthritis.
- Eucalyptus– In addition to its uses as a decongestant and germicide, Eucalyptus is an effective analgesic. It also has been found to have a stimulating effect on the mind.
Please keep in mind, that these essential oils should not be applied directly to the skin, but added to a massage lubricant, warm water, steam, or used as a compress. For example:
- If using as a compress, add four drops each of the German chamomile, marjoram, and cypress to about one teaspoon of massage oil, then add that mixture to a small bowl of very warm water. Use a washcloth or small towel to absorb the liquid. Wring it out and apply to the area of pain. Remove when compress becomes cool and repeat.
- If using in a massage session, add one or more of the essential oils in the proportion of 10-15 drops of oil to one ounce of carrier oil or crème. Allow the mixture to sit and blend for two to three hours before using.
- As a pain-relieving bath, 10 drops of essential oil can be added to warm water. Soak the body for no more than 15-20 minutes.
- When using steam, mix 10-20 drops of oil in a 6 oz spray bottle with a little water and fractionated coconut oil, then spray into the steam. You can keep it simple by using our Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist which you can spray directly into the steam with no hassle. Steam allows essential oils to penetrate the pores and travel internally via the respiratory system.
Always remember to use high-quality essential oils for therapeutic use. Adding essential oils to your self-care is a great way to support your body in its own healing.

Menthol Crystals are being talked about more and more these days, but do you really know what they are and how they will benefit you? Originally known as Japanese Mint, the herb was exported out of Japan and into India. Currently grown in northern India, the leaves of this incredible herb contain 70 percent menthol, releasing a powerfully pleasant aroma of mint. The crystals offer the world many ways and applications to take advantage of it’s wonderfully healing nature.
Let’s look at a some more information and ways that you can invite this plant’s power into your own life, health and home.
Description
A natural product, menthol crystals contain and release a cool and refreshing smell of mint. Derived from the extraction of oil from mint, menthol is an herbal compound, formerly known as peppermint camphor. The crystals work well in any product requiring a strong flavor or aroma, with the added bonus of its ability to relieve pain and soothe the body.
Uses in Health and Beauty:
Menthol crystals are added to other great ingredients used in cosmetics, creams, toothpaste, dental rinses, cough drops and even shampoos. Because of its analgesic properties, menthol crystals can relieve body aches and soothe muscle pains. On a more precise and symptomatic level, the essence of menthol can clear up coughing and breathing problems. Simply place a few crystals in the steam of your shower or steam room and inhale the vapors to clear your sinuses. Rub the crystals along the shower walls and the steam will release menthol while you rejuvenate in the shower. With the combination of the heat and menthol your sinuses will open, your body aches will be relaxed and throat pain will be soothed. Menthol crystals will also dissolve in alcohol and oil, allowing their strong smell to make them a desirable product for home fragrances and perfumes.
For Use In the Home:
When using menthol crystals at home to prepare various products like a salve or fragrance, always wear a mask. Avoid placing your head directly over the bowl or other container containing the crystals. The smell of 100 percent menthol crystals is very powerful. Menthol crystals are soluble in alcohol and oils like olive oil but not in water. They melt around 107 degrees Fahrenheit. Ratios of 5 to 20 per cent menthol are common but for home use start with a low percentage until you develop a feel for the potency of the crystals and your own tolerance.
For Topical Use:
Menthol crystals can be used topically to soothe sore and stiff muscles, but make sure they are diluted with a carrier oil such as olive, coconut or jojoba oil. Rub the crystals in the carrier, over the area of the skin where the muscles are sore. The first sensation that you’ll feel will be an icy cooling, followed by numbness and partial incapacity of muscle use. This occurs, as the menthol crystals stimulate the nerve endings in the skin, creating that cold and numbing sensation.
